The Old Fort Quarter Festival returns to Portlaoise on Sunday with a family-friendly celebration of local history, heritage and entertainment. Families can explore the historic streets of the town while enjoying favourites including The Big Dig, Golden Ravens, walking tours and medieval reenactors.

This year’s programme also includes a spectacular fire show, ghost tour and pop-up storytelling sessions throughout the Old Fort Quarter, creating a fun and engaging day out for visitors of all ages.
Character Day

Meet some of your favourite movie characters at Castle Adventure Open Farm’s Character Fun Day this Sunday. Children can dress up as their favourite princess, superhero or movie character and enjoy character appearances, face painting and plenty of photo opportunities throughout the day.
