Aoibhín Garrihy and her family are kicking the summer break off in style, taking a sun-soaked holiday in Estepona, Spain.
This is their first holiday as a family of six, since Aoibhín gave birth to her fourth child, Aoileann, earlier this year. Four kids is a whole different ballgame, especially when travelling – something Aoibhín is learning hands-on during this trip.
The former Fair City actor has been sharing some envy-inducing snaps of their dreamy vacay on her Instagram Stories, where they have been enjoying fruit picnics on the beach and fun in the sea – with three-month-old Aoileann catching plenty of shade, of course. Heaven!

But what stuck out to us is Aoibhín’s candid admission about just how busy a holiday with four children actually is. Things can look so idealistic in the social media snippets, but we do love a bit of a reality check to stop us from feeling too jealous of celebs’ lives that are so much more glamorous than ours.
Posing for a mirror selfie before she headed out for the evening, Aoibhín admitted that holidaying with four was crazy (if her choice of emoji is anything to go off, that is).
‘Tonight I used a hairdryer for the first time and I’m delighted with myself,’ she joked.

Aoibhín and her husband John Burke welcomed their fourth child back in March when baby Aoileann joined the clan. The couple are already parents to daughters Hanorah, eight, Liobhan, six, and Isla, four, and the girls seem to be the best big sisters, doting on the new addition.
