Morning Live presenter Michelle Ackerley has revealed live on air that she’s expecting her first baby.
After opening up in an Instagram post about her struggle with endometriosis and fertility, Michelle announced that she’s four months pregnant.
Beaming from ear-to-ear, Michelle said she ‘still can’t quite believe it’ but she and her husband, Ben Ryan are ‘very very happy’.
Michelle said Ben has been ‘so chilled’ about the whole thing but she’s been waking up at 3AM because she can’t sleep and has been rousing Ben to try and prepare them for the sleep deprivation that’s about to come their way.

A few hours before appearing on air, Michelle uploaded a carousel of pictures to her Instagram page announcing her pregnancy.
“I can’t believe it’s nearly been a year since getting married and I honestly didn’t think 12months on that I’d be writing a post sharing that I’m pregnant….” Michelle wrote alongside a picture of her and her hubby walking up the aisle at their wedding.
“I know this kind of news can be difficult to read for some so I understand if you would rather scroll past on this,” she continued.
She went on open up about her journey with endometriosis and infertility which she said is ‘something I finally felt confident to start speaking about more openly last year’ after realising how many women suffer through the same thing.

The couple are set to welcome their bundle of joy in October and they are nervous with ‘cautious excitement’.
