Congratulations are in order for Strictly star Joanne Clifton, who announced that she is pregnant with her first child at the age of 42.
The professional dance star is engaged to fiancé AJ Jenks, and the parents-to-be shared the happy news in an adorable fashion online.
They shared a photo of the London Underground ‘baby on board’ badge typically worn by mums-to-be to highlight that they need a seat as they’re pregnant.
Joanne and AJ captioned the picture: ‘Can’t wait to meet…’ and tagged pals including Claudia Winkleman.
The couple also revealed her due date, adding: ‘Cya in December’ and were flooded with well wishes.
That included messages of congratulations from Strictly’s Amy Dowden and Karen Hauer, who wrote: ‘Aww, wonderful news, congratulations.’
New mum Laura Whitmore shared her congratulations by posting a love heart emoji, as did Kevin Clifton.
Actress Gina Murray added her well wishes to the pile, writing: ‘This is the news… THE news… THE NEWS!!.
‘I cannot wait to meet your singing, dancing, laughing, crying, beautiful little person.’
Joanne and AJ, who works as an actor and performer, first went public with their romance back in 2020.
She had previously vowed not to date someone in the industry, but AJ managed to change her mind.
‘Before I met my boyfriend AJ, I said to myself, I’m not going to go out with anyone from the industry. But you can’t help what happens.’
‘I was convinced it wasn’t going to work, but we’ve been together nearly two years now,’ she told Metro at the time.
She and AJ announced their engagement in September 2025 with a sweet picture of them hugging, which she captioned: ‘Got bored… so we’re getting married.’
