Shoppers can’t get enough of this bargain jacket from Dunnes, so much so that it has been sold out, restocked and gone viral online.
And we’re not surprised, a light jacket with a hood that can be folded up and popped in our bag for when the rain strikes. We may have just had a heatwave, but those thoughts don’t leave us – and now that the weather is cooling down a little, we know that rain is just around the corner (sorry!).
Dunnes windbreaker goes viral
Luckily, Dunnes Stores has just the thing, and we’re not the only ones who think so. The Funnel Neck Windbreaker has been going viral on social media for the past couple of months, with shoppers snapping it up in all colours.
It previously came in both blue and brown, and fans were ‘obsessed’ with it, calling it ‘fabulous’ and ‘lovely’.

Sadly, both colours sold out last month, but it’s now back in stock in ‘winter white’, and we must admit, it’s very chic. TikTok users have also spotted a burgundy version in stores, and while it doesn’t seem to be available online yet, it’s worth keeping an eye out for.

One woman tried on the white and burgundy version of the jacket, saying that it was a ‘lovely fit’ and ‘perfect’ when the cooler months roll around.
Someone else added that the jacket was ‘the perfect little jacket for going for a walk this time of year’.
