Run, don’t walk to Dunnes Stores for a dress that will see you through this heatwave and be idea for your holiday suitcase too.
Across the country, we are all struggling to come up with things to wear these days – because honestly, at the current temperatures, even our skin feels like too much. And while running around in a swimsuit or your birthday suit is fine, I guess, if you are in your own back garden, this is just not the case if you are having to work or drop the kids to camp or do any other activity outside the house.

The solution? The perfect breezy dress that you can literally just throw on and go – and we reckon this Dunnes one is everything we want right now.
The Seersucker Midi Dress is super-flattering on all figures, and we love how the top and skirt are in two different colours/patterns, making it almost look like a top and skirt combo rather than a dress.

And having checked the dress out in store myself, I can also tell you that this is the type of fabric that does not crease, and so this dress is an ideal companion for your summer holidays suitcase. Just toss it in, take it out once you get to your destination, and voila, you have the perfect summer dress that will work for both daytime activities like shopping, sightseeing or even just to throw on when you move from the beach into a coffee shop.
As well as that, throw on some sparkly sandals and put your hair up, and you’ve got the perfect dress for some romantic meals out in the evening time.
I tried the dress on, and the fit and length are so flattering too, I love how it falls to an elegant midi-length, a length that looks good on everyone.
There are many designers doing sweet seersucker dresses this season too, but I reckon this Dunnes one might be up there as one of my very favourite ones.

That means it is more than €350 more expensive than the Dunnes version, which is just €30.
And honestly, I think this is such a fab summer buy that you are going to be reaching for every summer – and if you girl math that with cost per wear, well, then I think you know how much of a bargain this dress really is!
