Pippa O’Connor recently donned a jacket ideal for the spring/summer season but it is slightly out of our price range.
One thing that you need during the warmer months is the perfect jacket, because let’s face it, we do live in Ireland. While it may be scorching one minute, a gust of wind will come along a moment later to freeze us. So having a light jacket that we can just throw on is essential, really.
Pippa O’Connor found the perfect one in Brown Thomas, a gorgeous bomber jacket, which is a soft shade of yellow. It’s the Anine Bing Cropped Leon Bomber in butter yellow and is a gorgeous cropped style.
Pippa paired the jacket with a vest top, jeans and some gorgeous gold heels, creating the perfect outfit for a casual dinner and drinks. But the jacket is described as suitable for ‘everyday wear’ and we would definitely throw it over so many of our outfits.
The jacket is priced at €375, making it an investment piece which is out of the price range of so many of us, sadly.
Affordable dupe of Pippa O’Connor’s jacket
Luckily, we have done some digging and found a brilliant dupe for just €50 which is so much more attainable for the Average Joe.
It’s the JXLEILA Bomber jacket from Jack and Jones and comes in the colour sunlight, a slightly darker yellow than the Anine Bing jacket, but ideal for the coming months nonetheless.

It’s priced at €49.99, is a very similar style to the more expensive version and can be worn with just as many outfits.
It’s already selling out fast, with just a couple of sizes left in stock online, so if you want it for your 2026 wardrobe, then you will need to act swiftly.
This jacket also comes in beige, khaki and black, and those colours are proving less popular with all sizes in stock at the moment.
Penneys also currently has a gorgeous yellow funnel neck jacket in stock for just €22, and it’s bang on trend too, if you’re looking for something even more affordable.
