Prince George has officially become a teenager, and royal fans can’t believe how quickly the years have slipped by.
His proud parents, Kate and William, released a new portrait of the prince to mark the milestone moment, and the royal looks every inch the young man in the making.
In the photo, George can be seen smiling at the camera and looking very grown up in a smart suit.

Kate and William captioned the picture:’Happy 13th birthday George!’ and fans were loving the adorable shot, even if they were amazed at how quickly he’s sprung up.
‘How on earth is he already 13?? Wasn’t he just in New Zealand and Australia with his many facial expressions? Happy Birthday, not so little George,’ wrote one.
Another added: ‘Wishing Prince George the happiest birthday. Can’t believe he is already 13 but it’s wonderful to see him growing up with his siblings.’
‘He is such a handsome young boy. I hope he is having a beautiful day.’
Others were blown away by the fact that the royal is now officially a teenager, with one person posting: ‘It’s hard to believe little Prince George has grown into a teenager!
Another chimed in to say: ‘Wow! There’s a teenager in the castle. Happy Birthday, Prince George!’
‘Officially a teen,’ declared someone else, while another fan echoed their words, saying: ‘Officially a teen, the future king is growing too fast.’
The milestone moment comes after he recently accompanied Kate on a royal visit to an airbase, with experts pondering whether he’s set to start taking on royal duties as it’s emerged he’s already begun taking flying lessons.
