Miriam O’Callaghan is celebrating with her niece who recently marked a big achievement, but it’s an emotional milestone too.
The host revealed that her niece, Katie, has received a major accolade and could not be prouder.
Katie is the daughter of her late sister Anne, who passed away from cancer when she was very young, and Miriam feels she is celebrating in heaven.
The reason? Katie has just been accepted to the Irish Bar. The host shared a gorgeous picture of herself and Katie enjoying the sunshine to mark the occasion.

Other photos show Katie in her robes, while in others the family can be seen celebrating together.
Miriam wrote alongside the snaps: ‘A joyous day yesterday as my beautiful niece Katie Jones was called to the Irish Bar.

‘Already a successful barrister in London, yesterday was such a very special celebration. I love Katie very, very much.’
‘Her mum, my sister Anne, died from cancer just before Katie’s fifth birthday – time flies by- so we know there were big celebrations in Heaven yesterday too.’

Her followers were loving the intimate family moment, with one writing: ‘What gorgeous pictures. So lovely they have you, Miriam.
‘Congrats to your niece Miriam, bet your sister is smiling down with immense pride,’ added someone else.
