Ailbhe Garrihy shares big change coming for her boys after trial was ‘roaring success’

by Louise Porter / 3 months ago

Ailbhe Garrihy and her family are enjoying a holiday and the mum-of-three has admitted that it helped her decide on a big change for her children.

The family of five have escaped the Irish weather and is enjoying sunnier climes, despite the hecticness of actually travelling with three little ones.

Ailbhe and her husband Ruaidhri are enjoying the baby bubble, and the holiday bubble, after jetting off to Costa Del Sol in Spain with their boys, Seán, five, Fionn, three and baby Cian.

Opening up about their gorgeous getaway on social media, Ailbhe said that it had been the ‘nicest but busiest holiday’.

‘3 kids abroad will keep you on your toes. The lack of routine, late bedtimes, overtired kids, late wake ups, napping here and there. Next week will be fun,’ she candidly said.

The mum went on, explaining that her two boys are preparing for a big move when they get back to Ireland – into the same room, which makes sense now that another little one has joined their family.

‘We used this holiday to see how Seán and Fionn would get on sleeping in the same room and it’s been a roaring success,’ Ailbhe explained.

Sharing a room with siblings is such a fun part of childhood and something very important to the Garrihys. Ailbhe’s sister Aoibhín previously opened up about how ‘all three’ of her daughters share a room (this was before baby girl number four arrived), just like she did with her sisters.

Finishing her post, Ailbhe gave a little recap of their Easter trip and looked forward to the final few days ahead.

‘Spent yesterday and last night in Malaga staying with my bestie since we were five and her gorgeous family, and it was good for the soul.

‘Excited to spend our last two nights here in Nerja- my first time here. Plan for the morning is breakfast in Frigiliana,’ she said.
