Congratulations to Cork influencer Julie Haynes, known for her Twins and Me social media account, who has announced that she is now a mum-of-three.

The mum revealed that she and her partner, Cathal, have welcomed the newest member of the family. Julie is already a mum to twins, Erin -Rose and Fíonn, whom she had with her ex. She became pregnant with the twins when she and her ex were living in Australia, but she moved home when her dad, Michael, was tragically diagnosed with cancer.

The podcaster gave birth to her twins in Ireland, and her then partner stayed in Ireland for a month but had to return to Australia, and the relationship sadly broke down.

Julie has been living in Ireland ever since her return, has found love again and announced that they were expecting their third child back in November.

She shared the news with a hilarious social media trend and has now revealed that she gave birth to a baby boy over the weekend.

Julie Haynes chooses a sentimental name

Julie announced that she had given birth by sharing a video of herself and the newborn in the hospital bed, her cheering with a celebratory glass of something.

‘I did it,’ she said in the caption.

The following day, Julie revealed the sentimental name she and Cathal had chosen for their little boy, and it was a nod to her father who sadly passed away in 2021.

Sharing a video of the baby boy with his name embossed on his blanket and baby gro, Julie said: ‘Meet our new lil man. Called after both his grandads, “Mikey Óg”.

‘Born on the 1st May the same day as his Daddy’

The name Mikeu Óg means ‘young Michael’ or ‘young Mikey’ and is a lovely way to add an Irish touch to a classic name.

Congratulations!
