Fair City actor Gerard Jordan has announced he and his partner Jo have welcomed their ninth child together.
The star – who plays Steo Nash in the hit RTÉ soap – shared his news on social media over the weekend.
The couple also announced their newborn’s beautiful name.

He wrote: ‘Our Beautiful Daughter, Fleur Eden. Blessed beyond words. We love you so much baby girl.’
Gerard and Jo met 12 years ago and are also parents to Jasper, Hugo, River, Sage, Saint, Zen, Enzo and Halo.
‘I know 25 seems young, but we were very mature in the decision and [knew] what we wanted at that time,’ the TV star told the Irish Independent last year.
‘Ever since I became a dad, it’s not about me anymore, it’s about them, so I put them first before anything I do. Patience is the key.
‘You just have to be really flexible with everything. You know yourself, they get sick out of nowhere. You have to be prepared for that.
‘And then it’s a knock-on effect with the other kids. So you just have to be ready, ready for the unexpected.’
‘If you are going to have a big family, you have to circle your life around the children. It is difficult, but you’ve got to give up going out with your friends so you can really focus on your kids.’
He added: ‘I have always loved the idea of a full, lively home. The kind of place where there is always laughing or someone needing a snack or needing something.’
