However, it has the same look and feel as Fiadh, which is a far more popular choice for baby girls, and was the third most popular name for babies last year. It was given to 273 baby girls in 2025.
It also has a very similar meaning to Fiadh, while the more popular name means ‘wild’, ‘untamed’, or ‘deer’, Fiadhna means ‘little wild one’ or ‘young deer’.
