Shane Filan’s daughter Nicole is following in his footsteps and dipping her toes into the world of showbiz.
Nicole, daughter of the Westlife star, is taking on Christmas panto after signing up to play the role of Rapunzel at Dublin’s Ambassador Theatre from 22 December 2026 to 10 January 2027.
The new festive panto will bring music, comedy, colour and classic Christmas sparkle to one of Dublin’s best-known city landmarks.
The 20-year-old Sligo native said the role is a ‘dream come true for me’.
She said: ‘I am so excited to play Rapunzel at The Ambassador Theatre this December.

‘It is a dream come true for me. I have always loved singing, dancing and acting, and to bring Rapunzel to life in the heart of Dublin this Christmas is really special.’
The show is produced by Showbiz Productions, led by Andrea Kavanagh of The Showbiz Academy, whose work with young performers and family entertainment has made her a familiar name in Irish stage circles.
