A pregnant Irish woman was left mortified when a Westlife star came to her rescue after she had car trouble.
Musician and mum-to-be Tamara Salmon is expecting her first child and decided to treat herself to a pedicure for the first time in seven months. But what started out as some lovely self-care ended in disaster when she was left stranded in a car park after her car went ‘completely dead’.
But help came from one of the most unlikely sources when Westlife star Kian Egan helped push her car to get it moving.
Tamara shared the whole thing on TikTok, titling the video ‘Kian Egan from Westlife saves pregnant woman’ and what should have been a fun vlog turned into the strangest experience of her life.
Tamara decided to pick up a Supermacs after her nail appointment, but it turned into a disaster when her car refused to start. The mum-to-be’s face dropped as she realised what was happening, but her stress quickly turned into a mixture of embarrassment and relief when the boyband member came to her aid.
‘Oh my god, my car’s gone dead’ she said, realising her misfortune before the video cuts to the aftermath.
‘Oh my god, not Kian Egan from Westlife pushing my car, this is mad,’ Tamara said as she videoed herself in the front seat of the car, which is being pushed.
Tamara burst out laughing before recounting their meeting, telling followers: ‘I literally jumped out of the car and I seen him and I was like “oh my god no, could someone help me push my car?”‘
‘And I clocked on it was him and was like “this is such a funny way of meeting you, nice to meet ya.’
The singer was completely befuddled by the whole experience and just in disbelief that Kian had helped her out, saying that it was ‘the funniest thing ever’ and ‘so embarrassing’.
‘My life is so embarrassing,’ she exclaimed.
‘Kian Egan, if you see this thank you very much for helping me start my car’ Tamara added.

Followers rushed to the comments to have their two cents with many praising the Westlife star for his chivalry.
‘Aww, bless you . You looked like you were going cry when your car wouldn’t start. But fair play to Kian, an absolute gentleman. He was raised right,’ said one person.
‘Brilliant, what a story to tell the baby, Kian Egan came to the rescue when you were pregnant,’ someone else added and a third chimed in: ‘That would have made my life meeting Kian I’d not been able to control my excitement being a big Westlife fan, glad u got your car sorted.’
