Joey and Robyn Carbery are preparing for a major life move ahead of the birth of their second child.
The couple will soon be making the move home to Ireland from France as Joey is set to rejoin Leinster rugby.
Joey has spent the last two seasons with French side, Union Bordeaux Bègles, but today it was confirmed that he will return to Leinster where he played at the start of his career.
The talented fly-half, who is currently recovering from a cruciate injury, is a graduate of the Leinster Academy but left to play for Munster in 2018.
Leinster confirmed Joey’s return to the province on Thursday, sharing a video of him walking into the dressing room and saying it’s ‘good to be home.’
Big news for Joey and Robyn Carbery
He added: ‘I am delighted to be returning home to Leinster. I am thrilled to be joining in with Leo [Cullen, the head coach] and the lads; there are some familiar faces and loads of new ones to get to know.
‘I am working hard now to get myself fit and ready and contribute to the team as soon as possible.’
Joey and Robyn announced that they were going to have a second child, a sibling for their son Beau, in February, and she’s been sharing updates throughout her pregnancy.

In June, the family enjoyed a trip to Marbella in Spain, with Robyn saying it was now time to head ‘home to hibernate for the remainder of summer.’
What an exciting time for the Carberys!
