It’s a special month for influencer Dominique Nugent as she prepares to meet her rainbow baby.
Dominique has said her pregnancy ‘feels surreal’ as her due date approaches after experiencing years of heartache.
In December after lots of disappointment, she announced that she was pregnant via IVF.
On Sunday, Dominique showed off her baby bump, telling fans how ‘surreal’ it is to be ‘so close’ to her due date.
Captioning the video, she said: ‘Over here wondering which bump video will be my last. It feels surreal to be so close now.’
Announcing she was expecting in December, she said: ‘After years of heartbreak, loss and longing, I can’t quite believe I get to write these words and share this news. It’s finally our turn.
‘IVF has given us our little Christmas wish and, all going well, our rainbow baby will be coming this summer. These clips hold so many emotions for me.
‘Excitement, hope, the month-after-month disappointment, and the kind of love that keeps you trying again when you don’t know how you’ll get back up after a loss. I’m still nervous, because I’ve been at this stage before. But today I’m letting myself breathe and share this tiny piece of hope with you all.’
In a previous episode of everymum the podcast, Dominique spoke about losing her baby girl Wynter a day short of 16 weeks and her words helped so many women experiencing similar heartache.
She has also talked about the second baby loss they went through and the impact it had.
Recently, Dominique shared pictures of her boho-themed baby shower, where she celebrated with family and friends.
The mum-to-be posed with her sisters, whom she thanked for planning the perfect afternoon at House in Dublin.
‘Thanks so much to my sisters @victorianugent95 & @sarahmadison15 for organising the most beautiful baby shower. A day I dreamed of for a very long time,’ she wrote.
Sharing her own pictures from the day, Dom’s best pal Grace said: ‘The most special day for Dom!
‘Honestly, can’t tell you how excited I am to meet him or her. Such a gorgeous baby shower.’
