Friends jump to Beckhams’ defence after claims they ‘choreographed’ Harper’s visit to Brooklyn’s home

by Sandra Mallon / 1 month ago

There have been claims that David and Victoria Beckham ‘orchestrated’ a visit from daughter Harper to their son Brooklyn’s home, but friends of the couple have dismissed the claims.

On Friday afternoon, Harper Beckham was spotted at the gate of her oldest brother’s sprawling Beverley Hills mansion, reportedly carrying a handwritten letter for him. The teenager was in town with her brothers, Romeo and Cruz, to watch their father be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Harper was spotted getting out of the SUV at his house, just hours after the ceremony and still dressed in her pink silk dress. But she got no answer at the gate, according to Page Six.

But it later emerged that Brooklyn was not at home and instead posted a picture of himself running around Central Park in New York City.

However, according to The Daily Mail, representatives for Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, questioned how paparazzi strategically were outside their home at the time of Harper’s arrival.

They told the Daily Mail: ‘[The fact] that photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.’

But now friends of David and Victoria have hit back at the cynicism – saying Harper ‘desperately misses’ her brother.

‘It’s incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother.

‘Nothing needed to be said at all so to invent this nasty accusation is really unnecessary,’ Beckham’s pals told The Daily Mail.
