When it comes to the best toys for keeping kids entertained for hours on end, Lego is just the gift that keeps on giving, isn’t it?
The colourful blocks, invented in 1932, are just as entertaining today as they were back then, and Lego has proven time and time again that as far as children’s toys are concerned, imagination and creativity and building will simply never get old.
But did you know there are more ways to use and play with Lego than you might have thought?
One mum took to social media recently to show the genius and very creative way she used Lego to keep her little one occupied – and honestly, this is inspired! And such a great new way to use Lego!
Photocopy your Lego
In a reel shared to Instagram, the parenting content creator, who only reveals her first name to be Alice, shows how she puts Lego blocks on a photocopier, and photocopies the blocks onto a piece of paper.
Next we see her give her child the same blocks, as well as the photocopy, where she now has to try to match the actual blocks with the shapes on the paper. This, no doubt, will keep her little one entertained for a good hour at least – and needless to say, parents in the comment section are loving this clever idea.
A matching activity
