Things might be changing in Aoife Walsh and her daughter Penelope’s life, but they made sure to keep up the sweet holiday tradition that they have created over the years.
Aoife, who is set to tie the knot after her fiancé Ben got down on one knee, whisked her little one away to Spain with her own mum and dad in tow.
The family of four previously lived together before mum and daughter moved out of Aoife’s mum and dad’s house in 2023, and now they look to have created a new tradition of an annual holiday.
Aoife shared some snaps of the group of four enjoying pasta dinners, ice cream cones, and walks on the beach.
The former Miss Ireland also shared a clip of Penny playing football with her grandparents on the trip, alongside Abba’s Slipping Through My Fingers. ‘Wish I could bottle this moment. Watching their bond makes my heart so full,’ she penned.
‘She may no longer live under their roof, but their love and influence will always be a part of who she is,’ Aoife wrote. Fans of the influencer rushed to the comment section to agree, with one person saying: ‘There’s no bond more special than one with grandparents.’ Another added: ‘Just so special.’
Aoife also posted a string of snaps from the trip, writing: ‘Penny’s annual holiday with Nanna & GangGang. She loved the last few days and getting to spend so much time with them since we moved out!! A little tradition we’ll have to keep up.’
