Brendan Powell Jr, son of an Irish Grand National icon, has admitted that he is officially ‘outnumbered’ after his partner gave birth to their second daughter.
Brendan, who also followed in his dad’s footsteps on the race course, has posted the first few pictures of the new addition to his family.
Brendan Powell Snr is a legendary Grand National winner who is best known for his iconic win in the 1988 Grand National with his horse Rhyme ‘N’ Reason.
Brendan Powell Jr posted a few shots of his new daughter, whom he shares with his partner, Lucy Barry. One shot showed him sitting on the bed, gazing at his newborn, while others showed big sister Patsy looking at her baby sister and mum Lucy holding her daughter moments after giving birth.
Writing in the caption, the jockey was overcome with emotion regarding their new arrival and revealed her name.
He told fans and followers ‘Grateful for the safe arrival of our baby daughter, Vinnie Bee Powell, born 31.05.26. Patsy got a little sister, I’m definitely outnumbered now.’
Posting the obligatory shot of Dad and baby walking out of the hospital, little Patsy was there too, holding his hand.
He may be outnumbered, but he is one proud dad!
