Pink’s daughter seems to be following in her footsteps and the famous mum is doing everything she can to support her daughter’s dreams.
So much so that Pink and her family have relocated from Los Angeles to New York so they can be with Willow while she chases passion.
Chatting on CBS Mornings with Gayle King, Pink revealed why she, her husband Carey Hart, and their son Jamison, nine, have made the big change to their family life.
‘She is musical theater obsessed. She has followed me around the world her whole life – on and off tour – and I told her, “It’s your turn, we’ll follow you”,’ Pink said.
The mum-of-two added: ‘We show up [for our children] if we can. And I’m lucky that we can.’
Chatting about Willow’s talent, Pink said she is ‘phenomenal’ and isn’t just saying that because Willow is her daughter.
‘No [I wouldn’t ‘just say that because she’s my daughter],’ Pink told host Gayle King. ‘I would be like, “You can’t do that.”‘
Pink added: ‘She’s also just really earnest. She’s a hard worker. She’s an A+ student.’
Pink also praised Willow’s confidence, saying: ‘I’ve seen her on stage and I’m like, ‘Who is that person?!” And that’s true for a lot of performers.’
Over the years, Willow has appeared on stage with Pink several times, including at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 2024, and on Pink’s Summer Carnival tour.
While Pink has three Grammys to her name and is one of the biggest names in music, Willow’s dad, Carey, is a former motorcycle racer.
To mark Willow’s 15th birthday on Wednesday, Carey shared a sweet post with photos of Willow from over the years.
He wrote: ‘Thank you so much for choosing me to be your father. Each year that goes by, is one year closer to you being on your own.
‘And though it gets harder for me each year, I couldn’t be more proud of the woman you are becoming.
‘There is no doubt you are gonna change the world one day. And I could not be more proud of you, Munchkin. Always know that your old man loves you more than life itself. Happy 15th birthday.’
