Gordon Ramsay has opened up about how scared he is to become a grandfather in a conversation with Gary Lineker, who revealed that he, too, will soon become a grandad on his The Rest Is Football show on Netflix.
The dad-of-six admitted that he probably isn’t well-equipped to help his daughter out with the little one when they are still a baby, and will have to wait until they are older before he is useful.

Sharing his personal news, Gary said: ‘We’ve got something in common, we’re both about to become grandparents for the first time. How exciting is that?’ To which Gordon replied how scared he was to take on the role.
‘I’m secretly petrified because until they can talk and communicate with you, you can’t do much, we’re not going to f***ing breastfeed, are we?’ the celebrity chef replied.
Gordon’s daughter, Holly, is expecting her first child with Adam Peaty, following their controversial wedding in December, which led to a falling out with his family.

Holly and Adam announced their news in June with a heartfelt picture of her blossoming bump, and by the sounds of things, their littler one will arrive just in time for their first anniversary.
She captioned the picture: ‘Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming in December 2026. We can’t wait to meet our baby girl.’
Her dad was among the first to respond, sweetly saying: ‘Congratulations to you both, sending lots of love, Dad. I’m going to be a very overexcited grandad, especially this Christmas.’

Gary, meanwhile, shares five children with his ex-wife Michelle, whom he divorced in 2006: George, 34, Harry, 32, Tobias, 30, and Angus, 28 and broke the happy news that he is set to become a grandparent while speaking to Gordon.
It’s not clear which of his sons is expecting, but his son Harry tied the knot in Ibiza last year.
