How To Make Mummy Cheese On Toast

by Everymum / 4 years ago

There are plenty of ways to celebrate Halloween without spending extra money (or getting too scared!)
Why not have a fun spooky lunch, with these delicious mummy cheese on toasts? They can be made with bread, pitta bread, or english muffins.

For best results, serve with a blood red tomato soup or maybe some tinned spaghetti ‘worms’!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 slices of bread per person
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Black Olives
  • Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

1. You can either start with bread, or lightly toast it first if you prefer it extra crispy. Spread your bread/toast with tomato sauce, then decorate thin strips of cheese arranged like bandages, and two olive slices for the Mummy’s eyes.

2. Place under a medium heat grill for three to four minutes, or until the cheese starts to melt.

3. Serve with blood red tomato soup for the perfect spooky Halloween lunch!
